Lake Financial: Apple Membership Supplement

This supplement explains Lake Premium purchases processed by Apple in the Lake iPhone app. It supplements the Lake Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Service with Rieper LLC, doing business as Lake Financial. It does not change the existing Stripe billing terms, Lifetime commitments, notice commitments, consumer rights or remedies, or dispute-resolution and arbitration terms. It does not restart an existing arbitration opt-out period. Apple's purchase and subscription processes described below apply to App Store purchases.

Price, billing period and renewal

The native app displays Apple's localized product price and billing period. The price, currency, billing period, tax treatment and charge timing shown by Apple before you authorize a purchase control over conflicting App Store price information elsewhere in Lake. Apple processes the payment using your Apple Account payment arrangements under the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Lake does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

A Lake Premium subscription purchased through Apple renews automatically for the selected billing interval until you turn off renewal through Apple. Apple shows the renewal terms and manages the charge. No fixed Apple price, introductory offer or free trial is promised by this supplement. Lake's existing advance-notice commitments for price changes remain in place; any Apple notice or consent process is additional to those commitments.

If you authorize an Apple purchase while a separate Lake no-card trial is active, the charge follows the terms shown by Apple. The remaining Lake trial does not defer an Apple charge or become an Apple introductory offer. Starting the Lake no-card trial alone does not create an Apple subscription.

Restore purchases and existing access

Use Restore purchases on Lake's Membership screen while signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase and the Lake account associated with it. Lake verifies the transaction, ownership and current membership status before restoring eligible access. Restoring an existing eligible purchase does not create another charge, transfer a subscription to a different Lake account or restart an expired trial. If restoration fails, contact support@lakefin.net without sending passwords, verification codes or payment-card details.

Existing eligible web or Lifetime access may be used in the iPhone app with the same Lake account. Signing in, restoring a purchase or gaining access from another source does not merge or cancel separate subscriptions. Manage each subscription with the provider that bills it.

Cancel renewal and request a refund

To manage or cancel an Apple subscription, use Manage Apple subscriptions on Lake's Membership screen, your Apple Account subscription settings, or Apple's subscription management page. Cancel before renewal under the timing Apple displays if you do not want another billing period. Cancellation normally leaves eligible access available until the paid period ends. A refund, revocation or other status change may end access earlier. Apple's cancellation instructions explain the current process.

Apple receives and decides App Store refund requests. You may request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple's eligibility rules. Lake cannot guarantee approval. Apple's refund instructions explain how to submit and track a request. Nothing in this supplement removes a right under applicable consumer law or an express remedy in Lake's existing Terms. Contact Lake for help with a Lake obligation that Apple's process does not resolve.

Account deletion is separate from cancellation

Deleting the app, signing out or deleting your Lake account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Apple may continue billing until you cancel through Apple. Lake explains this distinction and provides access to Apple subscription management before account deletion. You can still proceed with in-app account deletion without waiting for the subscription to expire or proving cancellation. Deletion and retained cleanup records follow the applicable Lake Privacy Policy; restoration cannot recover deleted Lake account data.

App license

The iPhone app license is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Lake's Terms and this supplement describe the Lake service and its membership arrangements; they do not replace Apple's standard app license or reduce rights required by applicable law.
